DRS Rose Card

I designed this card this weekend using all stamps from DRS Design. I have been a long time club member of DRS - club members get reduced prices on all their stamps and newsletters showing the newest releases. We can now choose unmounted (bare rubber and lowest price), wood mounted and mounted on cling mount.

I used a technique I just learned at the Madison Mingle last weekend. On glossy cardstock, stamp a background stamp with Brilliance gold ink. Let dry or heatset. Choose 3-4 colors of dye ink, and apply lightest to darkest from the center out with a slightly damp piece of sponge in circular motion. Stamp your focal image in Stazon ink, in this case the rose. I added the DRS fern stamp in corners in blue. I mounted the finished piece to a navy blue cardstock piece punched on the side with my new Martha Stewart vine edge punch.

Happy Stamping, Karen
