Bright Colors for Kids At SAS4Kids

It's time for another new challenge at Send a Smile 4 Kids and our theme this time is Bright Colors for Kids. Pick some bright reds, yellows, blues, pinks, purples- anything bright and cheery and make a card that a child would like and enter it in our challenge for a chance to win a great prize or to be part of our Top Three. We have two generous sponsors this time: Little Miss Muffet Stamps is offering their random winner 3 digital stamps of their choice; and Prairie Fairy's prize is a $15 gift certificate!

My first card features an awesome little lady from Little Miss Muffet. She is climbing rocks so I made a background with an embossing folder from Darice that can be giraffe spots or rocks (thanks to my friend Heidi's keen eye for pointing that out.) I decided to make her rope out of baker's twine and added a fun sentiment from Verve.

My second card highlights a couple of fun fun ducks from Prairie Fairy. Aren't they sweet. I paper pieced their vests and put a joke on the bottom of the card. Here is the punch line:

Kids love jokes- even corny ones like this one, so I love to include a joke on a card for a child and they are easy to find on the internet.

I am entering these cards in the "Just for Laughs" challenge at Digital Tuesday and the Anything Goes challenge at Party Time Tuesday.

These are fantastic cards and the duck joke is too funny! Love your Agent Cupcake Descending card, of course, and the texture in the background is fabulous! Love how you used the Baker's Twine - such a brilliant idea. :D I hope you get a chance to add it to our current LMM challenge as it's "Anything Goes" when you use a LMMS! *Hugs
