Crackerbox Palace Thursday and Blog Candy!

It's Crackerbox Palace Thursday and today I am sharing two cards I made with some beautiful silhouette and sentiment stamps that are available from Crackerbox Palace.  You can win your choice of the stamps featured on one of these cards by leaving a comment at either blog.  The simple requirements for a chance at winning this week’s blog candy are below.

But first- the winner of last week’s blog candy of the stamps featured on the fairy dust card here is……………… Karen S!! Karen, please send me or Crackerbox Palace your address so we can get you the stamps you have won.  And remember you can win another CBP stamp of your choice simply by posting a card you made with the stamps you won to your blog or Splitcoast Stampers gallery and sending us a link.

I made two cards to share today- one for the guys and one for the girls. Both are CAS (clean and simple) cards featuring a beautiful silhouette and sentiment stamp. (I promised I would share something else besides humorous cards, even if the funny ones are my favorite.) On the first card above I simply stamped the Riding Away silhouette stamp and Live Out Loud sentiment on patterned paper and layered it on a black card. The Riding Away stamp is available here.

My card for the girls was equally simple to make. I stamped the Sea Breeze silhouette in grey on a white piece and embossed the sides with a Sizzix embossing folder. I stamped the lovely sentiment and cut just the edge with a Martha Stewart branch punch, and layered it on a black piece.  The Sea Breeze silhouette stamp is available here on the CBP website.

So would you like to win the beautiful stamps featured on one of today’s cards? Here is how to win our weekly blog candy:

1.) We have decided that becoming a follower on both blogs is going to be something we would prefer you do but not a requirement.  My blog is here and the Crackerbox Palace blog is here.

2.) Leave a comment on either my blog or the Crackerbox Palace blog on the Thursday blogpost featuring CBP stamps.  The deadline to leave a comment will be the following Wednesday at Noon CST. Mr. Random will pick a winner from the comments and he or she will win the featured stamp(s). You must send me (khasheck@gmail.com) or Crackerbox Palace (crackerbox@crackerboxstamps.com)  an email with your home address so the stamps can be mailed to you.  And if you post a card to your blog or to Splitcoast Stampers with the stamps you won and send a link to Crackerbox Palace, you will win another Crackerbox Palace stamp of your choice!!

I am entering these cards in the challenges at Paper Playtime and Try it On Tuesday for Anything Goes.

Crackerbox Palace smiles, Karen

Both are gorgeous! Being from Texas I just gotta love that first card. This is such a great masculine card and love the image.
The second one is outstanding! The embossing frames out that beautiful image so well and love the sentiment.

Love the silhouette stamps! Karen, I'm so glad you are featuring them. I especially like the second one, but then, I'm surrounded by boys/men and love the more girly images.

It's not often that silhouette stamps are truly affective. I like both of them. It would be hard to choose which is my favorite!! Probably the Riding Away, since it is so hard to find a masculine image for a card. But I also love the Sea Breeze for the gals..!! Decisions!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Love the cards and Crackerbox Palace's Silhouette stamps. The addition of the embossing folder really makes the Sea Breeze stamp stand out.
